Resolved input sources that can be processed for content.

This represents input sources after glob pattern expansion. It is identical to InputSource, except that glob patterns have been resolved to concrete file paths.

We use a separate type to avoid handling the (no longer applicable) glob case in downstream processing.

Variants

RemoteUrl(Box<Url>)

URL (of HTTP/HTTPS scheme).

FsPath(PathBuf)

File path.

Stdin

Standard Input.

String(Cow<'static, str>)

Raw string input.

impl ResolvedInputSource

pub fn to_url(&self) -> Result<Option<Url>, ErrorKind>

Converts a ResolvedInputSource::RemoteUrl or ResolvedInputSource::FsPath to a Url pointing to the source.

For other variants (i.e., those without a URL), Ok(None) is returned.

Errors

Returns an error if building a URL from a ResolvedInputSource::FsPath fails.
